APG’s core values are the foundational traits and qualities that are the central driving force behind our business decisions. APG’s core values are as follows:
APG's vision is to:
Be experts in the design and application of visionary industrial measurement products and solutions.
Automation Products Group, Inc. (APG), an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, specializes in liquid level sensor and pressure transducer design and manufacture. Our roots in the business go back to the early 70’s. Since then we have built an extensive line of sensors:
APG specializes in matching application needs with the right sensing technologies for end-users and OEMs. We provide a wide range of technologies, field-configurable sensors, exceptional customer service, and custom product modifications.
Our sensors have been used in many industries, and in many applications. Most notably, our liquid level and pressure sensors have had huge success for OEM market leaders in Oil and Gas, Automatic Car Wash, and Medical industries, and have been staples for end-user manufacturers everywhere. In addition, APG’s aerospace division manufactures avionics for military and commercial aircraft, and we have many aerospace customers that use our pressure transducers.
We are on the cutting-edge of remote monitoring integration with level and pressure sensors. Bulk Material Handling and Logistic companies are saving time and money using our tools for remote data access to sensors on tanks spread across entire regions. These real-time monitoring techniques are revolutionizing the way many companies gather and respond to data.
Today, Automation Products Group, Inc. is privately held. We are a growing company dedicated to providing high quality, highly functional sensors to our customers with exceptional service and knowledgeable engineering.
We work with a lot of OEMs, Integrators, Distributors, and Reps to bring their customers reliable sensors in a timely fashion. We consider them our valuable partners, as their success is our success. If you're a reseller of sensors or systems that include them, we can promise you our dedicated efforts to provide:
We appreciate our customers and honor their business like we honor our own. In this day and age of cut-throat business and direct selling, we stick to our old-fashioned values of integrity and mutual respect. Contact us to learn more about how we can improve your business and help you serve your customers.
Providing NIST certification is a great service we offer that helps you stay compliant with ISO standards. We can certify any of our new pressure transducers or digital pressure gauges, and re-calibrate and re-certify them as needed, according to your service schedule.
In addition, when you send your pressure sensors back in, we give you the option of a NIST certification before and after calibration. This aids your record keeping, and can extend the time between certification services if your sensor shows no drift.
Keep in mind that a NIST certification is a guarantee that your pressure transducer, or digital pressure gauge, was properly calibrated when it left our factory. It is not a guarantee that the calibration will last for a specific amount of time.
The accuracy of your certification can vary, depending either upon your preference, the pressure range, and - if you have a digital pressure gauge - the resolution of your display. We offer up to 0.1% accuracy for some pressure ranges.
Contact us to order your pressure sensors with a NIST certification, or to schedule a recalibration. Talk to our customer support group to understand your options for accuracy, and make sure you ask about a before and after certification.
Automation Products Group, Inc. services many industries with their level and pressure monitoring and measurement needs. We specialize in building products that work extremely well in hazardous and harsh conditions. And with our Tank Cloud remote monitoring system, we're helping companies in various industries keep track of their remote inventories.
While the bulk of our product ends up in these industries, this is not an exhaustive list. In reality, if you need to measure level, flow, volume, or pressure, we probably have what you need.
We'd love to meet you in person! If we don't have a chance to cross paths any other way, come see us at any of the following trade shows. You'll be able to check out some of our products and literature, meet some of our people, and perhaps walk away with a prize or two! Who knows!

We started building pressure transmitters in the 70's. In the 80's we added ultrasonic sensors and expanded our existing product lines in the 90's. Since then, we've added continuous level transmitters, float switches, hammer union pressure transducers, digital pressure gauges, submersible pressure transducers, and remote tank level monitoring. With very few exceptions, we manufacture our sensors from start to finish. That means better quality for you, and greater expertise to serve you better.
While we once had a few facilities throughout the west, we now reside in one location in Logan, Utah. Here, we're more centrally located and able to respond quickly to our customers in our recently expanded facilities.
We're committed to helping you measure up to the demands of your application. Our founders began this company with a spirit of innovation and a commitment to quality. From the beginning, we've been known for putting sensors in harsh environments for customers that just couldn't find what they needed elsewhere. We've come along ways since those days as a custom sensor shop, but it has infused everything we do with a demand for durability and a feel for the necessary product features. At APG, we understand that you can't have a successful sensor until you have a successful application.
