Water & Waste Water Sensors
Pressurized filtration systems provide a compact means of cleaning unfiltered or wastewater.

Various filtration media are employed, depending on the level of filtration required. Media such as green sand, activated carbon, and diamataceous earth are available.

Water is brought into the filter through an influent valve. The water is forced through the media by the water pressure. The media is designed to attract and bind particulates and impurities in the water.

The filter is routinely backwashed to remove all the buildup of particulates and renew the filter.

The influent and effluent valves are controlled by the pressure transmitters and control system.
