Long Distance Readability
The entire point of having a large display is being able to read it from a good distance away. The DDL delivers high visibility, being readable at up to 100 feet away. Two lines of 1.8”-high LED characters provide a large readout of the monitored signal. The superluminous Sunlight Readable Bright LEDs provide visual clarity, even in direct sun. Having a display that’s readable from long distances can be very helpful, but only if that display is precise. VDC Power Supplies

*Quick Numbers Geek-out: for 4-20 mA input, let’s assume a calibrated span of 16 mA. 0.03% of 16 mA (16 * 0.0003) is 0.0048 mA. So the DDL reading on a 4-20 mA input is calibrated to within about 0.005 mA. That, friends, is precision.
